    eChalk Parent Accounts

Parents of elementary school students can register for an eChalk Parent Account at http:/jes.kcsdschools.com/parents/register.  (All parents must create a new account for the 2013-14 School Year.)

Middle & high school students require a District ID number, which you will receive in a letter from the school that will be sent home soon.  This information will allow parents to access the student's homework schedule and view class pages directly.

Additional information on eChalk Parent Accounts - including a video walk-through - are available on the district website at www.kershaw.k12.sc.us/district/instruction/echalk.

    We want your opinion!

We would like all students and parents to participate in our school survey to determine how you feel about students and teachers at Jackson School wearing uniforms. Please click here to complete the survey! Thank you for your help!

    From the Principal

I hope everyone is enjoying summer vacation.  Remember to Read Every Day and complete your reading logs.  There is also a 20 day challenge that all students can participate in.  Check out the left side of our home page and click the link.  This is a great way to earn two 100's in reading and in math at the beginning of the school year.  As always, remember we are growing leaders at Jackson School.  I can't wait to hear how you used the 7 Habits over the summer and exhibited your leadership skills.  Have a great summer!!!

    Educationally yours,
    Matia Goodwin

    Jackson's Growing Leaders

7 Habits of Jackson School Leaders

    1. Be Proactive:
You are in charge of your actions.

    2. Begin with the end in mind:
Have a plan, set goals, and achieve them.

    3. Put first things first:
    Work first, then play.

    4. Think Win-Win:
    Everyone can win.

    5. Seek first to understand, then to be understood:
    Listen before you speak.

    6. Synergize:
    Working together is better.

    7. Sharpen the Saw:
    Balance works best.
